| Bio: | Hello, and welcome to my RP journal! If you don't know what an RP is, well, it's kinda hard to explain. Think of it as writing a play with other people at the same time. ^_^ Anyway, this RP happens to be based on the UC Gundam timeline. My friend Justin and I took the series that are in it (so far, 0079, 0080, 0083, and Zeta) and ran with them. So, if you are familiar with UC Gundam, suspend your disbelief for a while if you chose to read my journal. We did take massive liberties with the canon storyline. It's an RP - that's just what you do. There are several characters that post to this journal... I'll give you a rundown: EFF: Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Shay is a slightly insane but very talented soldier. She tends to be dryly sarcastic or extremely giddy, and is currently engaged to be married. Lieutenant Felicia Brooks possesses a kind soul, and nobody can figure out why a cute girl like herself would choose such a bloody job as being a soldier when what she really wants to do is teach Kindergarten. She left the team after suffering a mental breakdown. Captain Ashley Russel is fiesty and brash with a tendancy to piss people off and get herself into trouble. Given a break by her team's commander after being caught spying, she feels as though she could never repay the debts she owes. And then she died. ._. Captain Kitt Sattler is a bit on the bitchy side, but it's just a self defense. She was in denial about being a Newtype because she considers it freakish, but has come to terms with that. Second Lieutenant Samantha Yorke is a hyperspastic fangirl of Christina Adler's work, and a powerful but untrained Newtype as well. She tends to be cheerful and sometimes gets in the way, and has recently been abducted for nefarious purposes by Haman. Major Christina Adler is a modified version of Christina Mackenzie... yeah, we changed her last name. Why? Who knows. Anyway, once a Gundam test pilot for the EFF, she piloted the Zeta Gundam for the AEUG before defecting back to the EFF again (and is infinitely better than that whiny bitch Camille who doesn't even exist in this RP. :D) Captain Galina Nikitin is an expert sniper who has never missed a shot when it counts. Dignified and polite, Galina has cheered up slightly since joining the Alpha Team after the loss of her old teammates in an ambush. She died on the attack on Mount Kilimanjaro. Lieutenant Killy Gallet is a former Zeon Ace that was stationed at California Base. She became a rock star after the war, which left her with a selfish disposition and she tends ot be very childish. Second Lieutenant Anishi Desai is the explosives expert for Dennis's team on Earth. She had an identical twin, Himani, who died, but since the two had a close Newtype bond, she often still sees her sister in visions. Anishi is very soft spoken, having a very sing song manner of speaking, and she calls almost everyone by their first name. Neutral: Jamie Singleton was once a Zeon Ace, then a Federation mobile suit trainer, and then finally high in the ranks of the AEUG...until she deserted them, too. She has suffered through more traumas than she can count, but has recently had a life-changing epiphany after a near-death experience at sea that left her with a positive outlook on her bleak existence. Lilith Romero is a reporter for Earth Network News and is currently off somewhere, who knows? AEUG: Farrah Maeru tends to be a rather depressed girl, having lost her parents in the Side One 30 Bunch incident and being burdened with advanced Newtype abilities. She serves as Char's loyal sidekick and is desperately attempting to both make him proud and reform him to become a decent human being. Axis: Haman Karn is mostly jaded and sometimes downright evil, but it's mostly out of ambition for greatness and devotion to the Zeonic cause. She hates Char with a passion for ruining her life. And that's all. Since only the girls post here, I'll give you some info on the guys they talk about, too. Johnny is Colonel Johnathan Ridden, once the Zeon Ace "Crimson Lightning" but was abandoned by his superiors after being taken prisoner by the EFF. Out of anger, he agreed to their proposition to become a Federation soldier instead of death/rotting in a prison. He has since become a respected Colonel and has a swarm of fangirls, i.e. Shay, his fiancee, Chris, his ex, and Jamie, who loves him more than anything but it's unrequited. Oh, and he hates Char. A lot. Char is Commander Char Aznable. Farrah also refers to him as "the Commander." If you don't know who he is, that's just sad. But he and Jamie were romantically involved until she found out he killed her best friend and former commander and lied to her about it. Ouch. Fisk is Lt. Colonel Carlton Fisk, who is not a baseball player, but a jet jock turned mobile suit pilot for the EFF. Dennis is Major Dennis Young, the top EFF Ace of the OYW (don't believe me? Go check!) who joined the AEUG after things started to go sour involving the Titans and all. He left with Christina to go back to the EFF and then left the team to train. Jarod is Lieutenant Jarod Washburn, who is also not a baseball player, but a soldier. :D He was injured and left the team for a while. Staubach is Major Alex Staubach, who has somewhat of a personality problem and possesses a sad past. He is Kitt's wingman. Alstott is Lieutenant Deacon Alstott, a former Zeon soldier who killed Yorke's brother and Marie (Johnny and Jamie's former commander) was his cousin. Ian is Lieutenant Commander Ian Greydon, a curren Zeon soldier who was an Ace in the OYW. Now serves as Haman's lackey/boyfriend. And I think that's it! Phew. If you read all that, my commendations, seriously. | ||||
